A Staycation in St. Augustine
Life has felt a lot like Rihanna's hit song lately.
Werk, werk, werk, werk, werk.
I tend to be a 'yes woman' this holiday season and I think it caught up to me. Needless to say, a mini staycation in St. Augustine was the perfect getaway to disconnect for a whole day with my other half. Between my new gig working with Delaware North at EverBank Field and my freelance clients, I don't remember geniunely taking a day off. But, that's the business and although I'm not complaining I jumped at the opportunity to take one entire day to indulge in food, drinks and take some fun photos with Stephen.
We stopped at The Blue Hen for breakfast, made a pit stop at Juniper Market for coffee and peeked into the shops nearby including Anchor Boutique, Magnolia Supply, and Declaration Co. We then headed to the Ice Plant for happy hour, obviously, and walked along the downtown area to see the 'Night of Lights' in the historic square. Unfortunately the camera stayed behind for that, so you'll just have to see it in person. ;)
